Not quite ready for election season to be here again?
We've got you covered.
In gearing up for the 2018 midterm elections, it is just as important to be registered, educated, and activated as it is during presidential elections! This page is devoted to helping make sure you are confident in where you'll be voting, how you'll be voting, and most importantly that you'll know how to overcome any potential hurdles along the way.
Priority No. 1: Registration
You can't vote if you're not registered! Long before an election, it is important to make sure that you are registered to vote. Use this great tool by the Maryland Board of Elections to check your registration status. Are you registered at your current address? Great! You are ready to show up on Election Day and vote--no photo ID required!
If you're not registered, or have moved since you registered last, not to worry--we'll help you take care of that here. Click on the TurboVote link below, and you will be walked step-by-step through the voter registration process.
The second thing is.... Education!
In just under a month, we will know who is running for election in Baltimore. Check back here for all your election-specific information! Being informed is just as important as registering to vote--you have to have the full package!
Your third reminder is... GET OUT & VOTE!
You can register (great job!), and you can get educated (even better!), but if you don't show up to actually cast your ballot, you will have fallen short! Make sure you get out there and put your hard work to use--make sure you vote!
