The Baltimore Votes Coalition collaborates to maximize our impact in protecting and advancing a healthy and equitable democracy in Baltimore. Our work is focused in the areas of policy and advocacy, voter mobilization, and voter education, and is guided by three core values: celebration, community, and collaboration. The coalition meets quarterly and is open to individuals and community-based nonpartisan organizations. Applications are reviewed quarterly and new members will be admitted in the month prior to each coalition meeting. The meetings are held in January, April, July, and October, and we ask that members join at least 1 quarterly meeting per year.
Membership minimum requirements
Justification: While there is no cost to be a member of the Baltimore Votes Coalition, we have several requests of all coalition members.
Agree to support the coalition’s goal of supporting every Baltimore voter in every precinct in voting confidently in every election.
Take at least one action to promote democracy in Baltimore City each election year
Join at least 1 quarterly coalition meeting per year
