Baltimore Votes
Student Service Learning Program
Baltimore Votes is excited to launch its Student Ambassador Service Learning Program across city schools to engage young Baltimoreans further in their communities and in the democratic process!
-
The Student Ambassador Service Learning Program offers Baltimore City high school students the opportunity to satisfy their mandated 75 hours of service by completing volunteer efforts that promote civic engagement within their communities.
-
To fulfill the 75-hour service goal, Student Ambassadors will be expected to hold activities in their school and attend other community events that center around civic affairs. These engagements may include being trained to register your peers to vote, hosting voter registration drives in your school, and recruiting students to serve in the Baltimore Votes Student Election Judge Program in the 2026 Elections, among others.
-
Prospective Student Ambassadors must be:
A high school student in the ninth or tenth grade within Baltimore City limits, who will preferably be 16 in May 2026 (though not a strict requirement).
Able to be registered to vote in Maryland.
Willing to complete 75 hours of service learning between September 2025 and November 2026.
